Brandon Marshall

28-year-old Brandon Marshall is the new wide receiver for the Chicago Bears. Formerly a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, he has been in the news frequently, often not for the positivity a player of his stature should receive. The 6’4, 230 pounder has been accused of alleged violent attempts towards women. Last year, he also came out saying that he has borderline personality disorder, which is often characterized by uncontrolled emotions and outbursts.

But what has been noticeable is his attempt at changing his attitude, which has been replaced with a more enlightened sense of self. He credits his wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, for the change. “”By no means am I all healed or fixed,” Marshall told Omar Kelly, a writer for the Sun Sentinel, “but it’s like a light bulb has been turned on in my dark room.”
