Bread, Pasta and Grains
When it comes to eating your carbohydrates, there are breads, pastas, and grains that you can eat as vegan and diabetic. You will need to avoid refined bread and pasta products including white, sourdough, Italian, and other forms of “white” or “refined” bread products.
Stick to whole wheat and whole grain braid, multi grain bread, brown rice, and brown pasta. Get used to reading labels to be sure what you’re eating is truly multi grain and not simply a partial wheat version of a refined bread product.
