Evelyn Lozada was unveiled as the latest star to lend her naked assests to PETA’s wildly popular PR campaign “I’d Rather Go Naked,” which brings much needed relevancy and press to entertainers all the while the fur industry keeps on skinning animals for profit.
But now onto the good stuff. Lozada, 37 — who, by the way, looks better as she ages — decided to take a stance against furs during winter, which can be considered brave since winter is traditionally fur season (although her fellow Miami resident, Rick Ross, seems to cover his blubber all year long).
According to Necole Bitchie, The Basketball Wives star had a little help from her shoes, made by Christian Louboutin, while dropping knowledge on the horrors of the fur industry:
Animals are pretty much tortured [for their fur.] I couldn’t see the whole video because it was very very sad. I own five dogs, I am an animal lover and it just changed my views on wearing fur. I have fur coats, I have shoes that have fur, I have scarves that have fur. I was very much into fur so for me to not wear it, I just feel like I am a voice for the animals and if I change one persons mind on wearing fur, then I feel like I have done something.
I’m surprised Evelyn actually came out against the fur industry (although she lives in warm, humid Miami, where there is no realistic need for a fur, so I guess) considering most of her elk in the reality biz flaunt furs as a marker of success.
But I’m not surprised Evelyn looked great nude considering her dedication in the gym. The Latina.com fitness blogger has been dispensing advice to her fans on how to maintain a beach body all year long.

Hoes keep on winning
She’s a fame junky. I remember her wearing a fur in New york while taping basketball wives. And furthermore, how empty is this gesture if you still wear leather
