Keep Calm and Carry On

Now that President Obama has retained his seat, it is important to remember that there is still work to be done in every home, school, and neighborhood across the country. Civic engagement did not begin and will not end with election results. In every aspect of our lives, we cannot succumb to stress and anxiety. It’s unhealthy in more than one way. And we must carry on with our lives in the midst of disappointment. No matter who wins, get up and go running, eat right, live well, be free.

  1. I am glad the election is over! There is so much going on in the country right now. And I am looking already to 2014 elections and what I can do to be informed moving forward….lets get it

  2. It’s funny, I was talking to my mother this morning and she claimed she made it a point to vote for the “lesser of 2 evils”. This was an important decision for those who made the choice to be involved. Even though you were not involved this still effects you. Personally I trust to see the promises that President Obama set forth when he was elected 4 years ago. Many of the decisions he made I am not agreement with, but at the same time I would like to take the time and give him time to continue with his vision of creating a better USA.
