Stay away from processed foods. It’s amazing how many vegans still consume foods that are loaded with preservatives. And the easiest way to do that is with preservatives and sodium. These preservatives, much like ordinary cooked foods, leave waste products in your body. This can lead to a host of issues that affect metabolism, mood and energy levels, which in turn can contribute or lead to weight gain.
