African-Americans in California will have more to look forward to with the passing of the new Affordable Health Care Act under Obama, which will help nearly 2 million African-Americans in the state of California.
Democratic State Senator Curren Price stated on Capital Public Radio News:
“It’s going to help level the playing field, and ultimately eliminate some of the nagging health disparities.”
With African Americans, who use the emergency room more than whites, the new Act will provide quality primary and preventative care with little to no additional cost.
