Eliminate Excuses.

It’s important to make the exercise convenient. Find a gym or exercise class that is on your daily route to or from work. If you pick something across town then, you’re less likely to get there on a regular basis. You’ve got no reason to skip the gym if you have to pass it on your daily commute. And plan and prepare the night before. Sit your workout clothes out at night, in bathroom sink, with your shoes. When u wake up, get dressed and get going. No excuses

  1. [pause] So you want a body like Lolo but you haven’t exercised since Flo Jo was in the Olympics? ~ haha.. I love it!

  2. I’ve always wanted an accountability partner but have found it hard to find one. How have others gone about finding accountability partners?

    • @Angel: You can find one in the gym, if you feel comfortable, but the best way to find one is to ask a friend or family member who you trust and has shown some discipline in other areas of their lives.

  3. I agree with everything except the “buddy system”. Workouts are my private time, collect and dumped negative thoughts ~ no talking or the like. I come off a 10 hour plus shift the last thing I want to do is engage with the outside world. My workouts are a physically active meditation.Secondly the last thing I need in my life is another way to disappointment myself or other, accountability is a novice idea for team work but when I’m doing something for me exclusively its not allowed. What I do for me I do for me.
