Pop-star Rihanna can’t believe she doesn’t have the curves she once had, lamenting to Ryan Seacrest over her seemingly slimmer physique.
The Barbadian bombshell recently has lost considerable weight after falling-off her “The Five Factor Diet,” a diet based on the principle of fives: five meals per day, five days a week of exercise in five different phases, each five minutes long.
Alluding to the demands placed on her by a grueling tour schedule, which her record label and her handlers forced the 23-year-old to go through last year, Rihanna admitted to her fans on Seacrest’s wildly popular Kiis FM radio show, she didn’t eat regularly:
“The Five Factor Diet has gone straight out the window ever since I went on tour. I mean, It’s difficult to have any kind of routine when your schedule is that crazy.”
It’s not a secret that many young artist have a tendency to overcompensate for their lack of care from their handlers, who, more time than not, see dollars signs over health while a performer like Rihanna must suck it up and use her youthful energy reserves to keep the cash flowing.
Speaking with a naivety reserved for a young woman trying to navigate through the intense lights of fame and fortune, Rihanna claims she has no idea why she has slimmed down:
“So I really have no idea how I’m continuously losing weight.”
Rihanna allowed listeners into her psyche, illuminating the body image insecurities she may have now internalized as result of her somewhat noticeable weight-loss:
“It’s actually pretty annoying, because now I don’t have a butt, and I have no boobs. I already had no boobs to start with. So annoying! and I’m eating everything!”
She also wanted to let her fans know that she is not part of the many in Hollywood who may have a hard time eating fast-food regularly:
“People think I’m not eating, but I’m on McDonald’s at 3am.”
These comments follow her father’s recent controversial stance on “Baby Girl’s” weight and relationship with her former beau Chris Brown.
Ronald Fenty, who was said publicly that he thought his daughter looked “fat” the last time he saw her, patting himself on the back for helping her lose weight.
He was quoted in Heat magazine: “I actually thought she was a little fat the last time I saw her.”
“But when I saw her at this year’s Grammys, I thought she was back to her normal size. I used to joke with her, ‘Robyn you’re getting too fat.’”
“But I think she’s fine. I think she looked excellent, as everyone saw, at the Grammys. She’s dieting, she’s working out.”
Rihanna ended the conversation with Seascrest by calling her ex-boyfriend, Chris Breezy, the “hottest in R&B right now.”
We can’t argue that Brown is not the most visible R&B artist, appearing in almost anyone who is anyone’s video and lending his voice to countless artists, but the hottest, we’ll leave that debate up to you.
Do you think Rihanna is too skinny? How do you feel about her comments about her body? Chris Brown?
