pain

Lower back pain reeks havoc on all aspects of the sufferer’s life. From waking up to lying down for bed, I just don’t have any relief from the sharp, nagging pain (I sound like I’m about hawk some brand-name pain reliever next).

But what are my options to heal. A physician once told me that healing can’t happen if I try to “white-knuckle” my way thru recovery.  Considering that my real concern was what I call my “addictive personality,” hopefully folks can understand my apprehension in taking strong yet highly euphoric narcotic medications.

Luckily, the good folks over at Gizmodo asked a primary care physician to breakdown what he thinks is the appropriate medicinal response to your aching muscles, bruised joints, or concussed brain.
