Be a good candidate and follow up

You made your election decision a while ago. Yet, there are decisions you have been holding off on making for months (or even years) that are urgent, important, and can make an impact on you and your family RIGHT NOW! Hold yourself accountable for eating right and exercising like you will have to give a speech about it on national television next month. Whether it is getting rid of a bad habit like smoking; or whether you need to stop making excuses and make time for that doctor’s appointment (and keep it this time), now is the time. Get your life.

Don’t just keep track of election results; keep track of you. It is all too easy to munch and lose track of what you are eating. Nervous eating will have you finishing off a party-size bag of Doritos before you know it.

Instead of binging in front of the T.V. or computer for the next 36 hours, stock up on some healthy snack choices for your personal or family watch party. Fresh fruit is always good. Try cherries, blueberries, grapes, and blackberries for easy snacking. Low sodium pretzels and popcorn are good choices.

This was an important decision for those who made the choice to be involved. Even though you were not involved this still effects you. Personally I trust to see the promises that President Obama set forth when he was elected 4 years ago. Many of the decisions he made I am not agreement with, but at the same time I would like to take the time and give him time to continue with his vision of creating a better USA. The most effective thing we can all do as a nation is pray for this president, our country and ourselves. That we move forward a 1
