As the name describes, this brand of cosmetics and personal care products believes in purity and performance. Founded by chemist Susie Wang, Wang who previously worked for billion dollar beauty businesses discovered that many chemicals that were widely used in cosmetics were proven to cause cancer, tumors, irritations, and other skin disorders.

Disheartened that many companies would claim “no animal testing” because even if the final formula itself was not tested on animals, many of the ingredients were indeed tested on animals.

The 100% Pure brand is made from pure food-grade ingredients, adds no perfumes or fragrances, does not test on animals (for real) and supports charities like the Leaping Bunny, PETA, The American Red Cross, Furry Friends Rescue and the Humane Society of the United States.
