I searched hotels in advance that would meet my needs:

I looked for hotels that had a pool so I could go for a morning swim. I searched for hotels that had gym access for their guests. I also wanted to make sure I had healthy food options. One hotel had a full restaurant inside so I checked the menu online to see what meal options were available. In the end, I chose a hotel that came with a refrigerator and microwave in the room. That way, I could have the option to store groceries and snacks with no problem.
