6. Take Care of You!

No one is a robot so please don’t feel guilty for wanting “you” time. This was the hardest thing for me to learn. Pilots tell their passengers, in case of an emergency first place the oxygen mask on yourself before attempting to help someone else. In order to provide adequate care for the cancer fighter in your life, you have to take care of you.

It takes a selfless individual to care consistently for another human being. To those who may not hear it often or often enough, you are a rare and invaluable gift to the world. Please take care of you!
