The Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports that African Americans are the racial group most affected by HIV/AIDS, accounting for 50 percent of the 1.1 million people living with the disease in our country today.

Representing just 12 percent of the total population, the black community is not done with this epidemic nor the conversation.
