Choose water over juice and soda

Having worked for a popular beverage company, our cafeteria fridges were always stocked with high calorie and sugar packed juices. Once I began choosing water over these sugary drinks I realized that they were the culprits in much of my calorie intake, which greatly contributed to weight gain. By keeping a bottle or two of water on your desk you will be more likely to reach for that when you are feeling thirsty. Water has also been said to assist in curbing your appetite and minimizing snacking habits.
