GIVE UP THE IMITATIONS

When it comes to transitioning into a vegan lifestyle, one should consider changing all dynamics of thinking concerning consuming animal products.

There is a billion dollar business in creating imitation vegan meats, such as Tofurky and tofu corn-dogs. There is, however, usually hidden preservatives and ingredients that are still counterproductive to one’s vegan goals of losing weight. Many of the imitation meats contain wheat and lots of sodium.

Instead, it’s best to go with the regular sprouted tofu and season it yourself.
