While you should constantly be making strides to always love the skin you’re in, there’s nothing wrong with having a little fitspriation to guide you a long the way to your dream body. We’ve picked four of our favorite ladies who inspire us to keep going!

Kelly Rowland

During the last few years, former Destiny’s Child member and R&B diva Kelly Rowland has truly blossomed into her own. We love her passion for fitness and how well she keeps her arms and abs maintained. She represents for the petite women by staying fabulously in shape at all times. Rowland also recently teamed up with the Hollywood Trainer Jeanette Jenkins to launch their “Sexy Abs” DVD. Rowland is definitely our “Motivation!”

Jennifer Lopez

Love her or hate her it’s impossible to not admire her ability to always look amazing, especially for a mother of two in her forties. Lopez attributes her curvy athletic build to eating fresh fruit and raw vegetables, avoiding red meat and making working out a priority.

Jordin Sparks

Jordin Sparks shines on a recent issue of SHAPE magazine showing the world that losing weight and looking great is possible with a lot of effort and will power. Sparks told Shape, “I just wanted to be healthy. I remember thinking, ‘I’m in my prime. I should be happy and fit.’ That was the moment when I decided that changes needed to be made.” What an inspiration!

Gwyneth Paltrow

Beyoncé’s best friend, Chris Martin’s wife, actor, sometimes “singer,” and Mother of two has gotten tons of praise for her hard rock body. Last year, Paltrow let the press know how she stays in shape with a statement in Self magazine. “The reason that I can be 38 and have two kids and wear a bikini is because I work my [expletive] ass off. It’s not an accident. It’s not luck, it’s not fairy dust, and it’s not good genes. It’s killing myself for an hour and a half five days a week, but what I get out of it is relative to what I put into it. That’s what I try to do in all areas of my life.” Well amen to that.

Who Do You Want See Profiled as a Fitspiration?

around the web

  1. I’d like to see more men profiled, more men articles overall

  2. Maybe more bloggers and not all celebrities. I really enjoyed when Francesca Ramsey was featured on here. Imagine if a Mommy-blogger was a fitspiration!!

I really like the star of the web series “The Number,” the girl who plays the fiance. She has a body like mine. Small-chested, but with really toned arms. To me, she is a normal girl and not a celebrity and I relate to that more. I mean, you know Gwyneth and Kelly have trainers and access to really expensive procedures, trainers, cooks, etc.

Normal people who have exposure all the way!!!!
