I’ve always wanted an accountability partner but have found it hard to find one. How have others gone about finding accountability partners?
@Angel: You can find one in the gym, if you feel comfortable, but the best way to find one is to ask a friend or family member who you trust and has shown some discipline in other areas of their lives.
I agree with everything except the “buddy system”. Workouts are my private time, collect and dumped negative thoughts ~ no talking or the like. I come off a 10 hour plus shift the last thing I want to do is engage with the outside world. My workouts are a physically active meditation.Secondly the last thing I need in my life is another way to disappointment myself or other, accountability is a novice idea for team work but when I’m doing something for me exclusively its not allowed. What I do for me I do for me.
