Weight got you down?

If you’ve recently started a new fitness routine, you may be struggling to lose the weight. But our bodies are machines, and with the right oil, you’re bound to begin to make progress if you keep with your program. Here are some things to remember when going through your weight loss journey.

  1. Your Body Needs Time to Adjust — Starting back (or beginning) a new fitness routine is going to be foreign to your body. On average it takes the body at least 30 days to get used to your workout routine, so if the fat isn’t coming off as quickly as you would like, it’s possible that your body hasn’t adjusted to the levels of intensity yet.
  2. You’re Building Muscle, Too — Often when we first begin a new regimen; we’ll step on the scale only to find that we may have gained a few pounds. Remember that when you begin strength training and other workouts that involved high intensity, your muscle will begin to tone. Often muscle weighs more than fat, so don’t look at those couple pounds as a defeat, look at them as progress.
  3. Eating Healthy Makes for a Better You — Another facet of weight loss is nutrition. Eating healthy is something that starts the day you make up your mind to lose weight. But it’s something that you have to do regularly in order for your body to cleanse out all of the excess waste. Overtime you’ll begin to see your skin change, your complexion improve, and the weight fall right off.

Stay motivated! You can do it!
