3. Allyson Felix
Three-time world champion and two-time Olympic silver medalist Allyson Felix will be competing in the summer games again this year. After running her personal best in the women’s 200 at 21.69 seconds (making hers the sixth faster mark of all time), she tied with teammate Jeneba Tarboh in the women’s 100–a tie that could have been broken with a run-off to determine who will claim the last spot in that event. Tarboh has since refused to participate. Felix is a lock for the 200. Her participation in the 100 is yet to be determined. Twenty-six-year-old Felix is the only woman ever to be a three-time Athletics World Championship gold medalist in the 200 event.
