Last night, sixteen-year-old Gabby Douglas grabbed the top spot on the U.S. gymnastics team, following her impeccable floor exercise. Douglas, who left her Virginia Beach, VA home two years ago to train with former gymnastic champion Shawn Johnson’s coach in Iowa, Douglas was so elated to be a shoo-in for an Olympic team spot that she hit her Dougie for post-meet interviewers. It was really cute. With an overall score of 123.45 and powerhouse floor performance, Douglas is the one to watch in London in later this month.
