Now that the dust has settled and every pop artist has had a chance to close her mouth after witnessing Beyoncè’s much-heralded return to the stage, it’s time to give Bey her due as the hardest working woman in the biz.
Beyonce’s worked hard to drop the weight after giving birth to her first child, Blue Ivy. Although she hasn’t publicly given away any tangible secrets to explain her sixty pound weight loss, Beyonce announced to her ravenous fans that her toned figure could be attributed to cardio and a diet full of lettuce.
“Y’all have no idea how hard I worked!
I had to lose 60 pounds. They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!”
Now tonight I’m gonna get chocolate wasted!”
We are going to guess that Bey didn’t eat only lettuce for six months, but it is a great foundation for anyone’s diet. Hopefully, Beyonce won’t wait until she’s Janet Jackson’s age to share her weight loss tips.
Beyonce is so secretive about her image so we’ll never find out what she did. Her family is so protective over her image and whats gets out to the media. We’ll probably see some pictures of her on a treadmill or eating a salad on her tumblr.
I’ve always loved Beyonce’s talent. But now that she has a daughter, she needs to sit down and be a Mother. She and Jay are showing the world a part of their life that they don’t seem to get… Parenting.. It’s as though they’re saying “okay, got a child, NEXT? They probably have a robot nanny…!
I would not have taken this statement to heart had I not had a child myself. Then I asked…well didn’t Tina Turner, Diana Ross and other super starlets work when they had kids……Yes but I rationlized that they were true divas…trailblazers who could not afford to stop working (I could be wrong but I’m just really giving it some thought).
But you are right! Where is the parenting? They still go out party…..not right at all? Where is the bonding. Sure…none of my business. I understand. But this has to affect the child some kind of way.
Hmmm, yes, Beyonce shared her pre-tour diet and exercise regime in the issue of People magazine where she was named the most beautiful woman in the world.
