Laughter can often crack the shell of even the hardest gym rat. Crack a little joke (not at the expense of others of course) to get the conversation started. Everyone likes to laugh and before you know it you’ll be gym and laughing buddies.

  1. These are good tips although I don’t do a whole lot of chit chatting when I am focused on getting my routine in for the day. However if you don’t know what you doing I strongly encourage folks to ask the trainers or another gym member after they have finished their set when performing an exercise you’d like to incorporate into to your own regimine.
