Pears

Fresh fruit is always a great choice and pears have a larger acid neutralizing effect on tooth surface than other types of fresh fruit, including bananas, apples, mandarins and pineapples. Celery

This veggie isn’t just good as a healthy snack. Celery is a winner because it breaks down into fibrous strands that naturally clean the teeth and keep your smile bright.

Sugar Free Gum

Xylitol, the sugar replacement, which is found in many sugar-free gums and mints, is helpful because it prevents harmful bacteria in plaque from metabolizing sugar that can erode your tooth enamel. Sugar free gum does the opposite of what regular gum does and instead mechanically removes plaque and bacteria from your teeth. Make sure your gum is aspartame-free.
