Well February is coming to a close and with that so are the first two months of the New Year. On December 31st many of us made promises of better eating, more workouts and healthier living. We started off 2012 strong and filled the gyms and Whole Foods across the country with all the other resolution makers…but how many of us are still going strong?

For me, I’ve stumbled a time or two…or three (There’s a container of Edy’s in my fridge and Nilla wafers in my bag as we speak), but I’m proud to say that I have been keeping my promise to add more veggies to my diet, drink water daily and I’ve been going to my Masala Bhangra workout class every Saturday morning without fail.

I haven’t stepped on the scale, they discourage me, but I’m proud that I have turned these resolutions into habits. Of course before the year is over I’ll stumble a few more times (I have weaknesses…sue me!), but I’ll make progress as well with these new habits and that’s encouraging.
