Grilled Avocados

  • 3 ripe avocados (Not mushy!)
  • 1 tsp pink himalayan sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Caramelized Onions

  • 2 large yellow onions (slice thinly)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp pink himalayan sea salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp raw date syrup

Arnold Multi Grain Rolls

Directions

  1. In a medium-sized fry pan, add olive oil over medium-low heat. After the desired heat is reached, add sliced onions, salt, pepper, and raw date syrup. Cook on low for 25 minutes or until deep golden brown and then set aside.
  2. Heat grill or griddle over medium-high heat. Slice avocados into quarters and season with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill on each side for 3 minutes.
  3. Griddle or grill on one side for 1 minute or until toasted.
  4. To assemble, simply place 3 slices of avocado on a toasted bun and add the caramelized onions.
  5. If you’re a lacto-ovo vegetarian, you can always add 2 slices of beautifully-named and delicious, Brie Cheese.
